Best Paper Award CN2014

Our paper entitled "Waterfall: Rapid identification of IP flows using cascade classification" won the Best Paper Award during the Computer Networks CN2014 conference held on 23-27 June 2014 in Brunów, Poland.

The Mutrics project has finished. On the website, we publish the important project results:

  • - new publications: the DNS-Class algorithm and the Waterfall architecture (see Publications)
  • - open source implementation of the DNS-Class algorithm (see DNS-Class algorithm)
  • - open source implementation of the Multilevel Traffic Classifier (see The Mutrics classifier)
  • - software tools for ARFF files (see ARFF tools)
  • - software library for Natural Language Processing in Python, with the English Wikipedia language corpus file (see Wikipedia corpus file)

Tracedump

The MuTriCs project has released tracedump, a novel IP packet sniffer of single Linux processes. It will be presented at the upcoming 3rd TMA PhD school at AGH in Kraków next week.
